Youth can apply for an eight week summer crew member position and/or year round positions. Youth typically work in the summer four days a week for six hours a day at project hosts sites throughout Sonoma County and are paid at least minimum wage, depending on assigned job duties.

The Sonoma County Youth Ecology Corps builds crew member’s work readiness skills and engages them in activities that enhance their career development and increase their environmental stewardship skills. Work-readiness training, career exploration, and education and enrichment events (such as an opportunities job fair, tours of the Water Agency facilities) are provided weekly.
